The SMARTlogger series of instruments are designed to monitor the on-off status and total time of use data. SMARTloggers provide the operating schedule for energy-consuming devices or systems. Models are available for lighting systems, motor loads, or virtually any electric load generating at least .25 amps. Professional installation is not required to use these small, robust loggers. Each one provides powerful data for superior energy management.
The new TOUL-4G Lighting Logger is an ultra small, battery powered, portable logger used for lighting energy audits. It has a built-in photocell to monitor lighting and a sensitivity adjustment to eliminate daylighting and ambient lighting. On/Off transition times are recorded and stored in the TOUL-4G.
Incredibly small (6.3 x 3.8 x 1.9 cm (2.5 x 1.5 x .75") comes with integrated earth magnets to hold the units in place. Never needs charging, comes with a 5 year built-in battery. The whole unit is covered by a 3 year warranty.

Easily perform analyses by TOU rate periods, such as Rate Schedule Analysis and create run-time, time series, on-time and load profile graphs. SMARTware also allows for CSV file export; view your data in popular spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel or Access.
SMARTware 11 is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit), and Windows XP.

EnerG2 is a device that was developed by The Madison Energy Group and contains a non-toxic, food safe gel compound that has similar thermal properties to that of food and beverage.
The DENT Instruments' SMARTloggers were recently used in a case study, conducted by multiple locations of a large Taco Bell franchisee, where a sizable percentage of energy savings was realized. In addition to a reduction in equipment maintenance costs, the Madison Energy Group was able quantify a 19% savings in these specific Taco Bell Walk-In Coolers and Freezers using the DENT SMARTloggers where the EnerG2 device was installed.
